ADVENTURE FILLED OR PEACEFULLY RELAXING - THE CHOICE IS YOURS

Day One

ARRIVAL

Settle into your tropical surrounds before joining fellow partners for a casual lunch on the hotel terrace overlooking the sparkling pool.

For those itching to get out, jump in a cart and revel in nine holes of golf. Choose from either a championship course or a links course - perhaps play both during your stay!

EVENING

Ease into the relaxed Port Douglas lifestyle with a sunset sail along the famous Four Mile Beach. Sip champagne and take in the magnificent views of Island Point, the heritage-listed Sugar Wharf and the Port Douglas waterfront.

Disembark and board your coach to the conference welcome dinner and delight in showing off the picture-perfect photographs of your adventure.

Day Two

STOP1

MORNING

Prepare for the day ahead with a healthy dose of vitamin D. Get in touch with your body this morning during a beach Tai Chi session on the sand in front of the hotel overlooking the famous Four Mile Beach.

Enjoy a relaxed, leisurely breakfast before joining your travel partners for a day of adventure.

AFTERNOON

Culinary or Catching? Choose how you interact with food today!

Those looking for an interpretive, culinary and education experience will head to a living botanical ark. Enjoy a relaxed drive through acres of swaying green cane fields which change into magnificent, regenerated rainforest. The theme of the day is conservation through understanding. Learn how you can live in harmony with the environment using the example of this incredible property.

Take a guided tour through the garden of which 35 years ago was virtually treeless having played host to sugar cane followed by cattle. Today through hard work and dedication, the property is both a subsistence farm, and private ethnobotanical gardens.

Collect your ingredients along the way and return to the retreat to take a culinary cooking class with your hosts culminating in a superb lunch using the organic foods you have gathered.

For a more active adventure, board your private fishing charter and spend the day chasing the elusive Coral Trout or Red Emperor. The local fisherman will take you to the best and secret spots! For those lucky enough to hook something to brag about, your skipper will happily shoot an evidentiary photograph to accompany your tale at dinner.

EVENING

The conference dinner will benefit from your knowledge this evening as delegates enjoy freshly caught seafood off the trawler, sizzling barbecue flavoured with native Australian flavours, seasonal fruits and locally sourced produce. The setting, familiar from your sunset sail, is the iconic Port Douglas Sugar Wharf. Delegates will enjoy your incredible knowledge of sustainable farming, native foods, the best fishing spots and local conservation projects!

Day Three

STOP1

MORNING

The cool, inviting waters of the lagoon pool welcome you this morning with aqua yoga. Stretch out through the water and become weightless as the movements invigorate you for the day ahead.

AFTERNOON

Choose your adventure - active, creative or relaxed!

Activity seekers will jump on board a luxury sailing catamaran bound for the idyllic paradise of Low Isles. Enjoy the warm sun on your face from the deck, under magnificent sails, or relax in the air conditioned saloon.

Moor in the calm waters of the sparkling lagoon and venture across to the island. Snorkel from the beach over swathes of soft coral spotting colourful fish and resident sea turtles. You can also explore the island and view the original lighthouse, or lay peacefully under the shade of a beach umbrella.

Creative souls will journey to the local township of Mossman for a private art class with a local Kuku Yalanji artist. Learn the stories behind the artwork, indigenous art techniques and how different colours are created. As your work dries, delight in a delicious afternoon tea of scones and bush honey at the Mossman Gorge. A walk through the art gallery to admire the works of local indigenous artists completes your creative afternoon.

Those seeking to switch off completely will travel north to the rainforest and indulge in a menu of rejuvenation treatments surrounded by the emerald Daintree Rainforest and inspired by the ancient beliefs celebrating the renewing, life-giving force of the Mossman River. Nature's gift of earth clays, flower and plant essences will heal and nurture your body and soul.

EVENING

Join the conference group for a gala dinner in the secluded beauty of the rainforest. Those who joined the painting class today will be one step ahead of fellow diners as the group become mesmerised by the rhythmic sound of clapsticks and the didgeridoo during an interpretive dance performance by the local Kuku Yalanji.

Upon returning to the hotel, discover your parting gift of organic body products from the rainforest so you may take home a little piece of rainforest paradise.
