Hartley's Crocodile Adventures

Hartley's Crocodile Adventures is the ultimate eco-adventure for visitors who enjoy experiencing wildlife in a natural setting. Located in the Wet Tropics World Heritage area on the spectacular coastal drive to Port Douglas, this multi-award winning, eco-tourism accredited attraction is available as a day tour option, customized incentive activity/team building destination or as an outstanding evening event location.

Highlights include the opportunity to cruise with the crocodiles on Hartley's Lagoon, witness the famous crocodile feeding shows, snake shows, cassowary feeding and educational farm tour. Hartley's has a range of natural habitats including rainforest, wetlands and forest with facilities such as the Education Centre, Cassowary Garden, Gondwana Gateway and Gondwana Grill. Lilies Licensed Restaurant is an amazing place to watch the crocs at play while enjoying a delicious meal from our regular menu or a custom designed breakfast, lunch, cocktail or dinner option. Hartley's Night Adventures has been operating since 2002 and enjoys an excellent reputation for providing fully customized evening experiences including a range of menus and activities.

In addition to the daily schedule, visitors can also pre-book for a selection of personalized 'hands-on' experiences such as the Big Croc Feed and Mammal Magic which offer a wonderful opportunity for one-on-one time with our experienced keepers and the amazing animals in their care. For larger groups, we offer Hartley's Private Touring options, which still provide the intimate 'small group' experience with our fully guided tours. Hartley's has its very own exclusive Rainforest Restoration Area for tree planting.

Hartley's can be teamed up as a component of a wonderful incentive experience with a range of other options such as Mossman Gorge or Thala Beach located within 40 minutes. For those who are looking for even more adventure, a Breakfast with the Crocodiles at Hartley's can follow on from a Hot Air Balloon Ride across the Tablelands or White Water Rafting on the Barron River after a morning Hartley's visit. One of our new options is an amazing Scenic Helicopter flight over the Great Barrier Reef, landing at Hartley's for a personal keeper guided Big Croc Feed tour. Croctabulous!!
